Our Team

Katherine Is. Free

Keller, TX
Katherine is a woman who is in love with the Lord and enjoys sharing the love of the Lord in everything she does!

Katherine is the founding member of God's Love Song Ministries. She brings with her a passionate love of God and over 18 years of ministry experience as a missionary, Bible teacher, discipleship leader, author, and minister of the Gospel.

Having worked in the healthcare field as a speech-language pathologist in several capacities for almost 20 years, Katherine specializes in engaging others in authentic relationships. It is in the context of these authentic relationships that people learn to communicate truthfully with themselves and others, removing negative mental and emotional filters that can distort their communication.

Katherine believes such communication can only occur through the mind-renewing, life-changing filter of the love of God. Her motto is:

Growing people...
           building relationships...
                               changing lives.

Lynne "Shalom" Shotts

Aurora, TX
Lynne is a woman whose heart is set on hearing God and doing all that He has given her to do.  She brings with her an "All-in" and "Get-er-done" attitude that just won't quit.

Having worked in the parks and recreation field and later in the custodial field during her 37-year career with entities such as the Red Cross, the Girl Scouts, and various NY municipalities, as a retiree in full-time ministry, she is blessed to see how God is using these skills that she used in the secular realm for His Kingdom work. She applies safety instruction principles and techniques when ministering to others; she provides custodial care to those she serves in ministry; and she applies rescue techniques when ministering to those who find themselves in troubled waters.

With a heart for those who struggle with addiction, Lynne enjoys a strong evangelistic call on her life. She delights in sharing her testimony of how God delivered her from addiction and using it as an avenue to share the Gospel with others. She is a living example of what it is to "Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage" (Gal. 5:1).

Her motto is:

Show up and expect a miracle!

Advisory Board

             Eric and Rashida Jackson

                     Crowley, TX

Eric and Rashida Jackson's passion is to see all people live according to their God-given purpose. They are passionate about helping others to realize their natural gifts and talents so that they can utilize them to give glory to God.

Eric was born and raised in Houston, Texas. Rashida was born in South Central Los Angeles, California. At the age of seven, she moved with her mother and three siblings to Houston, Texas. Eric and Rashida married in January, 2011. They began serving in ministry at their local church in Houston, Texas, where they would serve for six years.

Eric is a personal banker and an aspiring music producer. Rashida serves her community by substitute teaching, sowing her talent of graphic design, and producing a weekly podcast called Pursuing Purpose. Through the Pursuing  Purpose podcast, Rashida desires to help others see their purpose and life dreams and to strategically fulfill those life dreams and goals in a productive manner.

The Jacksons met Katherine Free supernaturally during the 2016 Southwest Believers Convention in Ft. Worth, Texas. This divine appointment soon developed into a relationship, as they kept in touch through phone calls and text messages even after Katherine moved to the Virgin Islands later that year. Katherine supported the Jacksons in their personal ministry endeavors. Likewise, the Jacksons supported Katherine when she announced the launching of God's Love Song Ministries. They are faithful partners of God's Love Song Ministries and serve on the Advisory Board.

In the fall of 2016, the Jacksons moved near Ft. Worth, Texas, as God called them to attend and serve at Heritage of Faith Christian Center in Crowley, Texas. In 2017, Katherine offered them an opportunity to serve in the Transportation Ministry of God's Love Song Ministries by stewarding Hope, her 2015 Chevy Silverado. During their time of stewarding this truck, God has allowed them to minister to many: transporting two youth to success conferences (during which one gave her life to the Lord!), helping people to move, providing transportation to those without vehicles in the Crowley/Burleson area - taking them to places such as church, the grocery store, and work,  serving those with health challenges, and much more! Eric and Rashida are grateful for the opportunity to serve their community in this way all for the glory of God!
